How procrastination can motivate you

You wake up one morning, get dressed, and head out to breakfast or lunch, and either come back home or head to the office/school to get started on your planned to-do list of projects.

While it may have seemed so simple the night before, the thought of having to start your work is just plain boring and exhausting. So you end up procrastinating to the very last minute regardless of how super important the project is.

What you need to look for in these situations is that, among those thoughts that break you away from work, a small part of your brain makes use of the motivation you get for procrastinating to make smaller tasks seem like cake. Surprisingly, you will notice how easily you could do such simple tasks and how much more satisfied you are for procrastinating. Everybody has simple tasks that they know they need to get done.

Not only that, but once those small tasks are out, you have set yourself up for some of the real projects you needed to do in the first place, because once you're on a roll, you won't stop.
